The effect of the <i>in ovo</i> injection of some carbohydrates and antioxidants on incubating parameters, blood and immunological parameters, intestinal morphometry and post-hatching production performance in broiler chickens

This experiment was performed to evaluate the effect of in ovo injection carbohydrates, antioxidants, and their combination into stored incubating eggs. To conduct this research, 600 hatching eggs were selected for amniotic (on 17.5th embryonic day) from laying hens Cobb 500 strain after 14 days storage, hatching, they distributed a rearing period 5 treatments replicates completely randomised design(24 per replicate). Experimental include: (1) Negative control (NC) (without injection), (2) Positive (PC) (injection 0.5 ml normal saline solution), (3) Injection carbohydrates solution (CS), (4) antioxidant (AS) (5) (CS) + (AS). The percentage, chicken weight, number red cells, lymphocytes tissue glycogen content CS AS treatment increased significantly compared (p<.05). All experimental had significant improvement terms physical quality chickens performance entire Antioxidant activity liver injected with antioxidants most difference comparison results show that leads higher incubation growth by preventing reduction stores, as well increasing capacity protection unsaturated lipids against stress fertile eggs.HighlightsIncreased egg storage time have detrimental effects on development rate.The improving stores is effective performance.The positive broilers.
